After the lockdown eases outdoor exercise and sports sessions will re-open first, starting with
- Walking netball – Milton re-start 29th March
- Walking netball – Histon re-start 5th April
- Outdoor Strength and Balance – Trumpington re-start 14th April
If we get the go-ahead from the Government, the date that indoor classes can re-open is the week beginning 17th May. Our planning has started, and we hope to re-open as many classes as we can between 17th May and 31st July. We will contact you about your previous class/es as soon as we have everything in place.
We understand that not everybody will be ready to return to face-to-face classes, but we look forward to welcoming you back when you are.

Walking Netball
Walking netball along with other Walking Sports are being launched across Cambridgeshire. The sports sessions are ideal for people wanting to start something new or who may be returning from injury. Walking netball will allow you to start gently and build up gradually. Regular weight-bearing exercise helps keep bones strong and by playing Walking Netball, there is no running and jumping and therefore no impact.
Being active is so important but finding the right activity is just as important. Walking netball is played in a fun environment and ideal for people who love team sports and would like to try something different.
Weekly sessions are occurring at the following locations:
- Histon & Impington Recreation Ground, on Mondays 10:30-11:30 am
- Milton Community Centre, outside courts on Mondays 12:15-1:15 pm
