Chairman’s Message
Hopefully everyone has been active over the summer and is looking forward to their classes in September.
As you will read in this Newsletter September is National Falls Awareness month – do take the opportunity to be involved and increase your activity levels at the same time.
Classes only exist when we have enough people attending a class to enable us to pay the instructor and hall charges. If you have friends who you think would benefit from enjoying some activity and from the social aspects of classes, have a word with your instructor and if there is space available invite them along.
Also please note that we will be holding our AGM in November (date and venue to be confirmed in the October bulletin) – there will be significant discussion about the future of Forever Active at the meeting.

The week is a dedicated time for health care providers and associated organisations to focus on falls, including awareness, prevention, risks and education.
With an ageing population, falls are becoming increasingly more common and can happen to anyone. But we can all play our part, experts believe the vast majority of falls could be prevented with some fairly modest changes to our lifestyle and homs
